Bookstore Services
- Textbook Orders You can now adopt your textbooks online by filling out the textbook request form. If you need assistance selecting books, check out the Faculty Center Network! (Contact Chris for login and password or create your own login.)
- Copyrights for Course Packs Use our online coursepack request form to arrange custom publishing and copyright permission on articles and published multi-media you want to use in your course.
- Syllabi
E-mail your syllabi to the CDE bookstore (or provide a hard copy) before the deadline posted below. If you cannot meet the syllabi deadline, your options are to fax, mail, or e-mail your syllabi directly to your students. You may also choose to post your syllabus on Blackboard.
- Media
We can duplicate videotapes, audiotapes, and CD-ROMs for student use.
Student Services for Faculty
- Class Schedules/Information Questions about class schedules should be directed to Robin Weinant at 479-4775 or ffrmw@uaf.edu. You can also look at schedules and class rosters at UAOnline.
- Scheduling an Audio Conference or other basic information about using the audio conference system can be gotten from Robin Weinant at 479-4775 or ffrmw@uaf.edu.
- Student Rosters
If you need assistance with course student rosters or student contacts, information on individual student lessons, or have questions about assigning a final grade, contact Sheri Keil at fnslk@uaf.edu or 479-4713.
- Student Exams
Leslie Sanders administers Exams to all Independent Learning students. If you have questions about the exams, student proctors conact Leslie at fnlas@uaf.edu or 479-4715.
- Student Final Grades
Final grades are entered in the UAF banner system by Kim Runnion who can be reached at fnkar@uaf.edu or 479-4773.
Course Development
- New Course or Revising Course

- Instructional Design
CDE supports an Instructional Design Team who works with course developers to use best practices for delivery of distance education courses, continuously researchs trends in technology, pedagogy, and communications, and provides training opportunities for faculty and staff.
