Rosalie L'Ecuyer

Attaining knowledge and developing skills are life-long experiences, enriching growth in mind and spirit. I am continually learning from the students I instruct. I enjoy my contacts with them through lessons, by email or phone, and occasionally in person. My classroom has no boundaries because I am in constant contact with students in Fairbanks, in rural Alaska villages, in the Lower 48, and on overseas military bases. I admire their ability to balance responsibilities for family, employment, study, and sometimes personal emergencies while pursuing their education. Students too recognize the value of learning as both an immediate and long-term goal.

Rosalie teaches: English F211X, Academic Writing; History F131 and History F132, US History I and II; and History F115, Alaska, Land, and Its People
