AMT 200x - Aesthetic Appreciation: Interrelation of Art, Drama, and Music
Aesthetic Appreciation: Interrelation of Art, Drama, and Music is one of CDE's most popular courses, with 68 students enrolled for Spring Semester. It is offered in multiple formats: either in traditional correspondence form, or as a web-based course. It is available either as a yearlong course, or as a semester-based course (See details on the differences between yearlong and semester-based courses).
This course gives students an opportunity to analyze and enrich their knowledge of great painters, writers, composers, and architects. It encourages students to expand their understanding of the arts, and provides a vocabulary appropriate for expressing educated opinions about these works.
What are students saying?
"I had taken art decades ago and am now recalling how much I love art. I may take more classes or even specialize in this area after I finish my work at hand."
"The instructor's excitement for the course showed. It made me excited about what I was learning."
