Vista and Internet Explorer 7
At this time many UAF applications used by staff and students have not been tested using Windows ™ newest operating system (Vista) and the new version of Internet Explorer (7). The Office of Information Technology issued a statement saying that applications such as Blackboard, UAOnline, and Banner do not work well or at all with these new releases. They are encouraging everyone to wait on upgrading until applications can be tested (Fall 07) For more information go to

It has also been reported that the browser Firefox seems to work with Vista and Blackboard. So if you've already downloaded Vista and are having problems you might want to try Firefox. Firefox can be downloaded from
www.getfirefox.com.
